Della's Story...
Hi, my name is Della. I'm a year old & weigh 8 pounds. I have long legs & a soft coat. I'm a very happy, sweet girl and I love to curl up & cuddle with you. I settle in easily and will bond with you quickly. I'm a good listener and a little lady with my potty manners; I cry at the door when I have to go out. I have lots of personality....I’m very funny & smart! And I love to run & play too.

I get along great with other doggys and am curious about kittys. I have pretty eyes and a very unique look. And I’ll spin around in circles on my hind legs when you offer me a treat. I will make a wonderful companion & a special addition to your family. I hope to find my forever home soon. Will you be my new BFF.....? =)

Love, Della xoxo

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Della, a San Diego Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
