Diamond's Story...
This beautiful gem is Diamond. She is a 7 year old who was recently rescued from a shelter in Waco, Texas. She is 15" tall and weighs 37 lbs.

Diamond is a sweet, lovable girl who would be good in a home as a single dog or with an older dog. Diamond is crate trained and will even go to her crate on her own for an afternoon siesta. She is well behaved on a leash and loves to take walks. As an adult dog, she will do better in a home with children 6 years and older and with dogs that are mature. If you love priceless gems, this girl is for you!

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, THE FIRST STEP is to complete our adoption questionnaire. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diamond, a Houston Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Houston, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
