Emma's Story...
My name is Emma, and I'm a "voluptuous" Australian Cattle Dog. My foster isn't sure how old I am, but she was told that I'm probably around 5 years old. That means I'm well behaved and potty trained! I would probably do best with someone who would help me lose a little weight. I'm happy with myself but the vets say I need to go on a diet. (What does he know!?) If you are interested in meeting me, please email savingargorescue@gmail.com. I can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Grand Rapids Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
