Danielle's Story...
Danielle is a very sweet, adorable rescued female kitten that needs a loving home. She was found at 4 weeks old with her littermate Darnelle without her mom and had to be bottle fed. Danielle is extremely loving and playful. She has tested negative for FELV/FIV and she is vaccinated. Danielle has a heart defect & was not expected to live very long, but now her echocardiogram shows she has improved greatly and may live a long life. She is trully a miracle as the vet said she had a huge hole and now it has diminished greatly. If you would like to meet Danielle, please call Sharon at 631 987 8152.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danielle, a Speonk Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Speonk, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Speonk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Speonk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Speonk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Speonk paves the way for another one to be saved.
