Hoover's Story...
Hoover and his partners in life, Buddy and Chance are about to be left alone in the world. Their guardian that has been their family since a pup has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and they may never see him again. Hoover, Buddy, and Chance are beside themselves wondering where their master is and awaits his return day and night. Hoover is still his happy and cheerful self when anyone visits but suspects something is wrong. Hoover is dependent on The Pet For Us and neighbors to help with a somewhat daily routine of potty times and feeding schedules but apparently misses his life with his master. Hoover is hoping that fate will smile on him and his brothers and someone who has a big heart for three loving animals who have lost everything will have a place in their heart for a forever home for them all. If this is not possible, Hoover would be a perfect addition to some loving family that can shower him with equal love and attention he is accustom to before this tragedy touched his life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hoover, a Colorado Springs Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
