My story

If you are looking for a fun, active, sweet dog, Pickle might be your guy. Approximately two years old, he was found stray and taken to the Johnson County Animal Shelter who asked us to take him as he was so scared there he would just sit and shake. His wonderful foster home though has helped him open up and feel safe, and he is now ready to find his forever home. Pickle loves to run and play and would do best with a secure fenced yard as he can squeeze through small spaces if he finds a scent. He is great with other dogs and children, too, and would love to find his new family betore the holidays.Email us about Pickles.

Contact Mindy at mmiller@beaglebuddies.org to obtain an application. Submit the application form and we will schedule a time to meet the pet. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Beagles over 5 years of age have an adoption of $100 and if younger than 5 years the fee is $125. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, are up to date on vaccinations, and a copy of vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag until you can use till you get one, and leash. All beagles are micro-chipped as well.
