Bolt's Story...
Bolt it turns out is aptly named! He has spent his life as an unneutered boy allowed to run the neighborhood and therefore requires some extra alertness by his fosters and new owners! He is so incredibly smart and would do very well in an agility class. He’s only about a year old, is fully vetted, and will be neutered soon. He’s a gorgeous black and white border collie who is shy and then incredibly loving and always aims to please. If you’d like to meet Bolt, please email us at info@eastcan.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bolt, a Nashville Bearded Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bearded Collie for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Bearded Collie dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bearded Collie breeders who help with Bearded Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
