Kennedy's Story...
Kennedy is a young retriever (possibly Golden Retriever) mix puppy. He was recently brought to Gail's Pets after being found wandering along a road without any identification and brought to a local vet.

Kennedy is a wonderful, playful puppy. He gets along great with other dogs, is learning how to walk on a leash, and is just fun to be around.

Kennedy has been neutered and is up to date on his immunizations. If you would like to make Kennedy a part of your family, please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kennedy, a Oakland Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
