My story

Vegas is a four-year-old male Australian Cattle dog mix. The Australian Cattle Dog is also known as the Australian Heeler, Hall's Heeler, and Queensland Heeler and is a loyal, brave, hardworking herding breed that was developed for driving cattle over long distances in Australia. It usually has either brown or black hair that is distributed pretty evenly through a white coat, which gives the appearance of a "red" or "blue" dog. It has been nicknamed a "Red Heeler" or "Blue Heeler". Vegas falls into the former category as his short hair is reddish and is accented by a pattern of dots and patches. While we’re pretty sure that Vegas has never been to Australia, we do know that he’s had a bit of a rough go at things since his owner left him alone in a hotel room. But that hasn’t affected his ability to sit and lay down for a treat which he will take gently from you. He’s a curious and playful pup looking forward to meeting you soon.
