Adoption Pending: My name is Rocky and I am a very sweet, 2 to 3 year old, red and white, smaller/medium sized cocker boy. My sister Katie and I came here to CCR after our owner had moved away and just dumped us off on a neighbors porch, with a bag of treats. The neighbor didn't want us and turned us into a NC shelter. The staff could not adopt us out together, as I had an ear infection. Then they contacted this rescue so that we could stay together until each of us could find a good home.
I am heartworm negative and I need to gain a few pounds, but I am a healthy boy and I am not quite as timid as I was when we first came here, so please give me the home that I deserve. I was doing really well with all my rescue buddies, but then I was moved to this nice foster home and I am doing really well. They have found out that I am a very sweet boy, I am good with kids, cats and I am very dog social as they have taken me to the beach and the dog park and I have done really well. They also have now helped me to gain a little and they are working on house training issues with me. My sister was very outgoing and got adopted to a great home, so now I would also like to be adopted to a home where there is possibly another dog who is easy going, very dog social, and would enjoy having a new pal. It would be my "dream come true" to find a nice home and someone to love me again. I really miss my sister and I want a home too.
