New Bio 08/13/12: Hi, everyone. It's me Heart Thumper, only now they call me Cody. I was adopted but it didn't work out so UYR came to my rescue again. I'm 18 mos old now and foster mom says cute as a button. My back legs have gotten much better I used to drag them and get twisted up in them but now with physcial therepy I have control of them and can walk almost normal. I'm not scared to walk on the tile either cuz I know I won't slide anywhere. Foster mom say's I'm pretty matted under my long hair so I will have to be shaved. I'm told Saturday is my big day. I get to go to the spa and then the doctor. Foster mom says it will be a lot of fun. Well that is my update for now. We will let you know what happens at the vet Saturday and will update my pics after my spa day. If you have any questions please feel free to contact my fostermom at the address below.
Thanks for reading about me.

United Yorkie Rescue, Inc. was founded on August 5, 2002, by a group of loyal and hard-working rescue friends. We consolidated our efforts and talents to form a family dedicated to the rescue and well being of the Yorkshire Terrier. We are devoted to providing love, nourishment, rehabilitation, socialization, and "pawesome" forever homes!! Please visit our website at http://unitedyorkierescue.org for more information about our rescue.
Please visit our website http://unitedyorkierescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Once your adoption application is received, the foster parent will be in touch with you to discus the adoption process.
United Yorkie Rescue is a national yorkie rescue organization. We have volunteers all over the United States, however there are many areas where there are more yorkies in need than we have foster homes for so if you think you might be a good candidate for fostering a yorkie in need, you are welcome to fill out a volunteer application on our website as well at http://unitedyorkierescue.org
