Caprica's Story...
My name is Caprica and I am a female, Beagle mix puppy. My birthday is somewhere around June 2, 2012. I was part of an abuse and neglect case and was rescued by my foster mom along with my brother and sister. We were not treated well, nor were we fed very well, so we had some health issues that are all better now. Our foster mom has nursed us back to health and we really love life now! We like to play hard and love hard.

I will be at my first adoption fair at 311 Harvey Street in Winston Salem on September 15th from noon until 4 PM. Due to the fact that part of the adoption process is a home visit, we cannot adopt more than a one hour radius of Winston Salem.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caprica, a Winston-Salem Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
