My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Alexander (Alex for short). He is a 3.5 year old male purebred Doberman Pinscher. As you can see from the photos, he is a beautiful black and tan colored fellow. Very handsome boy. This boy was a little reserved with us as strangers when we evaluated him, but seemed to start to warm up to us fairly quickly. He is a quiet boy; not a big barker. He seems to be okay with other foster dogs. We introduced him to cats and noted that he might do okay in a home with cats. We also noted that he walked fairly well on a leash. You can see from the photos that Alex has a long tail; not a short docked tail. We think that Alex would do best in a home with a second adult female dog. He is a little reserved with strangers and will need a patient owner to help him build up his confidence. He needs an owner that is willing to work with him work with him and give him some time to become acclimated in his new home and environment. Alex is looking for a loving home.
