My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have been able to pull Lady from a horrible situation and bring her into temporary foster, however, we need to find Lady a longer-term foster home or forever home.

She has been with us a few days now and we are just getting to know her...one thing we can tell you for certain.....she LOVES people and loves any kind of human interaction. She is a love-sponge (-:

Here is a little from her temporary foster mom :

Lady is approximately 5 years old, a lab/mastiff mix. She is a roly-poly girl, who will need to shed a few pounds. Lady really is a loving dog! She loves to hug and snuggle and give big kisses! She is a trusting dogand is eager to please. She walks very well on her leash and even brought it to me when she had to "Go". She has had no accidents in the house and is not a barker. She never even barks when all my other dogs start barking. Love that. She does grunt when you rub her belly, and she loves belly rubs!

She is not fond of cats at all, and I don't know if she ever will. She likes her territory and will have to learn to share if there are other dogs around and I am working on that. I just have to say that she needs basic training, but other than that she is a very loving, trusting and gentle dog with people. She does not nip and you can rub her mouth and touch her any where and does not mind. She is playful and is learning to play fetch. I trust this dog with my life. She deserves this second chance in life, and I think she knows it to.

If you think you could foster Lady for us or are interested in adopting her, please contact ANML-RESQ.
