Leo's Info...

Leo's Story...
Leo is an 11 to 12 week old mixed breed puppy that we rescued from a local shelter. We are purely guessing at his breeds ... all we know for sure is that he is going to be a BIG boy when he grows up! He already weighs close to 40 pounds and has HUGE paws. He is a sweet puppy that loves to cuddle with people and play with other dogs. The lucky family who gets Leo will take him on a foster-to-adopt basis, with the adoption only becoming final when he is neutered at the appropriate age. If you would like to adopt Leo, please fill out an adoption application found on our web site at www.sunnysaints.org, submit it and you will be contacted shortly. Adoption fee for Leo is $375.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Bellflower St. Bernard/Leonberger puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Leonberger for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard/Leonberger puppy from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Leonberger breeders who help with St. Bernard/Leonberger rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
