Marlen - PA's Story...
Marlen was named after our USA flyweight boxer who won Olympic Bronze. Both girls are quite active, love tug toys & squeakies, and are more aggressive than the boys. Marlen is the smallest, and they both have an impressive vertical jump!

Thiago, Brittain, Marlen, and Sanya are Lolo’s puppies. Lolo is a black and tan smooth miniature dachshund, but we do not know what type of dog their father was. Lolo came into rescue with her four puppies from an animal control shelter in South Carolina, so we have no history on this sweet little family. They are 10 weeks old as of 9/16/12. Each pup’s adoption fee is $350, with an additional $50 spay/neuter deposit and the deposit will be returned once proof of spay/neuter is submitted to CCDR. We have many more pictures of the puppies together, so feel free to email us at marcey789@yahoo.com to ask for more pictures! The pups are being fostered in West Grove, PA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marlen - PA, a Jacobus Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Jacobus, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Jacobus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacobus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacobus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacobus paves the way for another one to be saved.
