Mia's Story...
Hi, there! I'm Mia, a gentle, year old, yellow lab mix. I weigh 62 pounds and should end it doesn't look like I'll get a lot bigger. I am shy with new things as I didn't have a very stable beginning, but now I am gaining confidence because I am fostered in an active household with 4 other big dogs. I am intelligent and want to please you. I like to chase balls and play with squeaky toys and have you pay attention to me and teach me new things. I am housetrained and know how to use a doggy door and also crate trained. I am spayed, current on shots and will be micro chipped before going home with you. My adoption donation is $200. To get an application or to meet me, please email Diane@TARescue.com or call (925) 209-6480 or (623) 587-9119.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
