found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Red needs to go to a patient home, willing to train and work with her. Red off leash does come back after she gets tired but (we live in the country) but would need training to be perfect off lead and she walks well on a leash (without pulling very much). Again she is a hunting breed and does howl with she thinks something is going on next door or she wants in. When she comes in, she does settle down and doesn’t howl.
Red is VERY high energy and needs exercise every day and loves the company of other dogs, would get along fabulously with other dogs/breeds and loves to wrestle to wear each other out, is likely to be good as a dog park candidate. She is completely trustworthy in the house when left alone, she will go into a crate when asked (he sleeps in it every night). She follows me around the house and always wants to be near me, even if it is just sitting on the kitchen floor while I make food, but is tall and can reach thing on counters, Having said all this, as long as they are given adequate exercise the Redbone Coonhound will adapt quite well to apartment living, as they are relatively inactive indoors.
Red a wonderful dog, but would need a considerable amount of your time, energy and patience. She would make someone who walks trails a perfect companion. We are sincerely hoping that you can adopt Red.
