Jack's Story...
We are pleased to have handsome Jack for adoption, a Siberian Husky born in November 2011. Jack is a friendly guy who loves people and enjoys playing with other dogs. He was given up due to a change in living circumstances, and does not come with any emotional baggage. Jack would make a great family pet and would benefit from an active family that is keen on working on continuing to teach him good doggy manners. He was never walked on leash and loves people so much that he sometimes jumps up to say hello. Jack is very responsive to commands, though, and has demonstrated that he is an easy student. Jack will be neutered prior to his adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Rigaud Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
