Teddy's Story...
Teddy is a 2 1/2 year old light fawn male, who just finished a very short race career. He is brother to Tess. His small dog and cat status is unknown.

Teddy loves hugs and cuddles and is a laid back boy. Teddy is now in foster.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Teddy's foster mom writes that he can't get enough pets and kisses. He does put an end to stuffs so the only safe toy is nylabones and Kongs. He is crated when we go away and at night and is okay with this. He is starting to be left un-crated for short periods of time when we are gone. We are working on walking on leash. He is a good eater.

Teddy has an adoption pending.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Tucson Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
