B B's Story...
I’m a Welsh Corgi (the one with the short tail) and I have one blue eye and one brown eye, making me extra special. I love other dogs and people. I even walk real nice on a leash. I’m a little over a year old and have been neutered and am current on all my shots. I have been heartworm tested and am negative. I have been kept on monthly heartworm preventative as well as monthly flea and tick preventative. At the time I was turned in, it was said that I hate cats. My foster mom has a cat and when I’ve been around him (while he’s in his kitty condo), I don’t seem to hate him at all but I’m not sure how I would feel if he was out of that condo! I have had a couple potty accidents in the house but we are working on that also.

If you would be interested in meeting me please contact my foster mom Jacque at hahsfostermom@earthlink.net.

If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mom Jacque at hahsfostermom@earthlink.net and she will let you know what adoption event I will be attending on Saturday.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

B B, a Overland Park Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Welsh Corgi for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Welsh Corgi breeders who help with Welsh Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
