My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Soyer is a 9 week old (as of Sept.18th) black lab mix. This lucky puppy was found in a farmer’s soybean field (hence her name “Soy”er) and brought into a rural pound where she was then rescued by a GRAB volunteer.

Soyer is a typical puppy and loves to play, play, play. In her foster home, her favourite game is to chase and wrestle with her two foster-dog sisters. Soyer is working on puppy basics, such as: house-training, crate-training, mouthing/nipping, and socialization. She sleeps well in her crate at night and during the day when her foster mom is out. She will fuss at bit at first, but then settle down for a much needed nap. She is a smart girl and making excellent progress with her house-training.

She is an energetic and adventurous puppy who will grow to be a medium-large dog. She will need a patient family who is committed to giving her plenty of exercise, positive reinforcement training, and mental stimulation. She has a great personality and will be a wonderful addition to the right family.

Soyer is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed rescue. Her adoption donation is $375. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered,
microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm tested as part of their adoption. Please fill out an application at our website
