Rusty's Story...
Rusty is a friendly Carolina dog. He is very smart and knows basic commands. He is now going through training at PetSmart. Rusty is being fostered in a home and he is housetrained. He sleeps on the bed at night but he needs to be supervised when loose in the house. He is crated when left alone but he is learning the rules of the house fast. He is an active dog and he needs a fenced in backyard. He is full grown at 55 pounds and a birth date of 8/25/10. He is up to date on his shots, neutered and microchipped. Rusty would love to become one of the family.

This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a McCormick Carolina Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Carolina Dog dog from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
