Pumkin's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Pumkin's Story...
Pumkin came into the city shelter (with another dog) after her original owner passed away. A little depressed and confused, Pumkin quickly ended up on the Euthanasia list. We pulled Pumkin and she is currently doing very well in a foster home (with two cats). Pumkin is 3-years-old, about 45 lbs, healthy, spayed, extremely loving and GREAT WITH PEOPLE, KIDS AND CATS. Pumkin is quiet and well behaved in the apartment and loves going for walks. She is an around wonderful dog! Can you offer Pumkin the permanent, loving home she so deserves? If so, please call us as soon as possible (212) 427-8273. With so many great dogs dying in shelters these days, we need to move our "adoptable" animals as quickly as possible so we can save other dogs. We are very limited in foster homes. Pumkin will be a great addition to any loving, responsible home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pumkin, a New York Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
