Mookie's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mookie's Story...
Mookie was rescued in Riverside Park when a stranger noticed that he was malnourished and had a chain around his neck. Mookie is doing very well with this change though; you can tell he was starved for love and is making up for that now. Mookie is such a thankful dog and he returns the love you give him.

Mookie is outgoing and friendly. He is comfortable in strange places and when meeting new people. Mookie doesn’t need much training. He is very obedient, and enjoys the challenge of eating from a Kong puzzle. Mookie is house and crate trained, and is good around cats. Mookie knows the commands sit, stay, and come.

It doesn’t take much for Mookie to love you, and it won’t take much for you
to love him in return once you meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mookie, a Houston American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Houston, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
