Mamma Mia's Story...
My name is Mamma Mia, but you can call me "Mama" for short. As you can probably tell from my name, I love musicals and am looking for a family who will help me embrace my Diva side!

I used to live on the streets of downtown Fresno, but when my Westside friends saw me, they knew I deserved better. They had me spayed so I could have a permanent break from the puppy-making business and now I am in a wonderful foster home. I have gained some weight and learned what life is supposed to be about!

I love kids and would love nothing more than to have one to call my very own. If you'd like to meet me (or accompany me in a duet), please contact Westside Rescue at westsiderescue@gmail.com. My people will call your people. ;)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mamma Mia, a Fresno American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Fresno, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Fresno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fresno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fresno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fresno paves the way for another one to be saved.
