Liza's Story...
I'm Liza! People tell me that I am the prettiest girl they've ever seen, but I don't care about any of that - I just want to play!

My former foster told my friends at Westside that when she would do laps in her swimming pool, I would run to each end and meet her with kisses when she came up for air. I want nothing more than to have fun with my humans and make them happy in the process.

You could describe me as "unbridled youth", and because of that, I will need someone who will work with me on training. I am a people dog and would not do well being left alone a lot. I also do love going on walks, but don't necessarily wait for my people to take me, so a well-fenced yard with a locked gate is a MUST for whomever my new family is.

If you're looking forward to meeting me as much as I'm looking forward to meeting YOU, then please get a hold of my buddies at Westside Rescue. I can't wait to play!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liza, a Fresno German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fresno, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Fresno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fresno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fresno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fresno paves the way for another one to be saved.
