Annie's Story...
This is Sweet Annie! Her best friend went into a nursing home and she could not go with. She needs a place where she can have lots of attention all day and a great fenced in yard. She doesn't need to be kenneled because she behaves herself. She loves loves loves walks and attention. She would be a great new best friend. She is about 12 years young, house trained and current on her vaccines. She is a little jealous of other dogs but does tolerate some. Please giver her the love and attention she deserves and adopt her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Council Bluffs Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Council Bluffs, or seeking a Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Council Bluffs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Council Bluffs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Council Bluffs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Council Bluffs paves the way for another one to be saved.
