My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mona is a very special hound who was most likely used only for breeding, She was not very well socialized. She does get along with other dogs and would definitely benefit from having another dog to teach her to play and trust. Mona was very timid when she came to us but is coming out of her shell very nicely. She has learned to play with both dogs and people. She needs time to learn to trust you first. To do this she just needs you to sit with her and pet her. And follow her lead when it comes to playtime. Mona needs to alway have a crate to relax and be quiet in. She finds comfort in her crate and it makes her feel safe. Mona is very affectionate and becoming more and more playful with her doggie friends and her foster family. Updated info as of 10/21/12-- loves car rides -- check out the video. was taken only a couple of weeks after arriving @ her foster family in mid Sept. and has progressed much more since then.
