My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Magnum was rescued from the Riverside shelter where he ended up, after being found wandering alone in a local car park. This little 6.5-lbs fluff ball probably spent much of his 4 years of life living outside, and was most likely used for stud services. Those days are now over for him and he has been neutered. Magnum has the cutest little bark – it sounds as if he is saying “Mama”! He loves his walkies and car rides and basically being by your side at all times. Magnum would be fine as an only dog as he is more people orientated versus wanting to interact with his foster fur-brothers and sisters, so if you are looking for a playmate or companion for your dog, he is not the right match. Magnum is quite bossy towards other dogs. He would be best suited with a work-from-home professional or semi-active Retiree, without small children in the home. Magnum is not house broken and even though he is working hard on this concept it is not as important to him as it would be to his Pet Parent! He also has some quirks, such as he does not like the top of his head being touched, so we are looking for someone with breed-specific or puppy mill survivor dog experience for Magnum’s ideal placement.

Magnum will be at our Meet & Greet at the PetCo on Katella Avenue in Orange on Saturday, March 2nd from 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. if you would like to come by and say "hello"
