Helen's Story...
Helen is a Chihuahua mix available for adoption in Las Vegas. She gets along with other small dogs both male and female and cats. She loves to have her belly rubbed. She is good on a leash. She would be better with older children (at 10 years old and older). Helen is microchipped and comes with a free vet visit. Helen will be available for adoption on Saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm at Petco located on 3890 Blue Diamond Rd just off of I-15 South. (cross streets Blue Diamond & Valley View) Adoption fee applies. You are required to have a collar & leash that fit the dog you are adopting in order to take your adopted dog home with you. If you are interested in Helen, please contact Renee at 615-424-7090 via text or email at arprenee@gmail.com to make sure Helen will be at adoptions. We have limited space at adoptions, therefore all the dogs are not able to be present each weekend. Please make sure you read all the information below before contacting one of all volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Helen, a Las Vegas Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
