Banjo's Story...
Say hello to Banjo! Weighing in at 13 pounds, this little dog was surrendered by a woman in Northern MN who had too many dogs to care for. Banjo is approximately 4years old. He bonds very good to his people but is a little shy of strangers at first. Banjo would do best in a quieter home. He is also pretty athletic and fast when he wants to be ! In the video Banjo is the one with the collar on. Banjo is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. Email info@actvrescue.org if you would like to meet this snuggly little dog. Adoption fee is $299.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Banjo, a Bloomington Papillon/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon/Chihuahua for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a Papillon/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon/Chihuahua breeders who help with Papillon/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
