Mia's Story...
Mia is a precious female cattle/shepherd (our best guess is Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle mix) mix dog. She appears to be approximately 2 years old as of April 2014.

Mia is a little shy at first, but then is extremely affectionate, cuddly, loving little girl. She gets along well with other dogs as well as cats.

Mia has been spayed, and has received all of her immunizations. If you'd like to make Mia a part of your family, please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229 or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Oakland Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
