Othello's Story...
***PLEASE NOTE, I AM NOT A CAT UP FOR ADOPTION THROUGH GNHCP, THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO SHARE ME HERE AS A COURTESY POSTING***

Hi I'm Othello,

I am part of a bonded pair, wherever I go I need to be with my sister Ophelia. We really love each other and have been through a lot together.

I love to be petted but I also love to give love bites, they do not hurt they just come as a surprise at first to my human friends. I am a big, very handsome fellow who loves the companionship of my sister Ophelia and I love my human care takers as well. My purr is as big as I am.

I was displaced in New Haven, only to find a nice man who cared for me for a few years and had to move to a location where he could not bring me with him. Right now, my sister and I are being fostered by a wonderful couple in Hamden, CT but unfortunately they have two big dogs and we can not stay with them permanently.

Do you have room in your heart and home for my sister and me?

If you are interested in adopting me and my sister, please contact Stacy at: stacykix@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Othello, a New Haven Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in New Haven, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in New Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
