Cleopatra (Cleo)'s Story...
*new photos coming soon*

Hello!! My name is Cleopatra. But, you can call me Cleo for short. I was just rescued by the awesome Misfit Rescue Team from a high kill shelter in KY. I am SO happy to be out of the shelter. I met my new foster brother and sister today and they are wonderful. I am only about 4 months old. So, I was a bit nervous at first, but this rescue stuff is awesome. I LOVE playing with my toys and snuggling on the couch.

I am very smart. My foster mom worked with me and I am already sitting and staying for treats! I was told that I am a very good girl. That makes me feel good. I would love to find a family of my own. I can't wait to play, take walks, snuggle and make my new family smile. I have big ears, and everyone says they are awesome. When someone says you make their heart melt that is a good thing, right? :D

I hope to meet you soon. Please call MRT at 502-724-2773 or email them at so you can learn more about me.

Please give me a chance. I know I will love you and you will love me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleopatra (Cleo), a Louisville Pharaoh Hound/Vizsla puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pharaoh Hound/Vizsla for sale in Louisville, or seeking a Pharaoh Hound/Vizsla puppy from a breeder in Louisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pharaoh Hound/Vizsla breeders who help with Pharaoh Hound/Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
