Max's Story...
Hi my name is Max I am a 6mth old male German Shepherd/Lab mix. HNH saved me on my last day at the City of San Bernardino Shelter with my brother. Brought me to a wonderful foster home where there are other puppys to play with, green grass and a swimming pool. I love to play with other dogs, I am house trained and currently working on my basic commands. I would love to find my furever family that has a yard and loves to take me on walks or hiking. Max will need an active family, he is neutered, current on shots, micro-chipped. Contact Lorna at Lorna@hopenheroes.com. Adoption/donation fee and home inspection required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Torrance Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
