Sweet Butter's Story...
Hey! My name is Sweet Butter and I am one of 3 kittens in a litter that lost our mama! We were bottle fed by a nice lady at Avoca Veterinary Clinic and then our step mom showed up! A stray mama was brought to us and she had lots of milk! We love her as if she is our own mama, but we are now ready to find our own homes...I am approx 6 weeks old. I love to play and Im good at eating wet kitten food and using my litter box..PS Im named Sweet Butter bc Im Sweet and also bc our foster mama had to rub butter on our heads and bottoms so that our step mama would accept us. It worked!!! Im the one on the right!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Butter, a Walnut Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Walnut, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Walnut.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut paves the way for another one to be saved.
