Nena's Story...
Hi my name is Nena! I am 3 1/1 mths old female Dutch Shepherd/Lab mix. HNH rescued me from the City of San Bernardino Shelter when I was only 6 weeks old. I love to play with other dogs, kids and go swimming! I love to cuddle and give kisses, I am house trained, walk well on leash and know my basic commands. I am looking for a furever home where I can grow up with a family, I am a quick learner and always looking to please my adult friends. Nena is spayed, current on shots and micro-chipped. Contact Lorna at Lorna@hopenheroes.com. She is currently being fostered in Simi Valley, CA. Adoption/donation fee and home inspection required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nena, a Torrance Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Torrance, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
