Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Stella and I am a gorgeous 1yr old girl waiting to add some fun and love to your life. I am tall, sleek, and very elegant looking. But I am still a child at heart: very playful and loving. If you have another cat that needs some one to play with, I would be perfect because I love other cats, and love to play, but I do not need to be dominant, play too rough, nor get scared easily. I am great with kids. I do a lot of lounging and snuggling. I will greet you every time you come home and sleep with you if you let me, but I am not super needy or loud (like some of the other cats I live with!) I have never lived with dogs before but I am very adaptable. One interesting fact about me is that I like to have my paws massaged!
I am a very laid back confident cat despite the fact that I have overcome many obstacles in my life. When I was only a few days old, I lost my mother and most of my siblings to a predator . A kind person found my sister and I, the only survivors, and brought us to Port Royal Veterinary Hospital. We were healthy but so tiny (smaller than the palm of your hand). One of the technicians decided to save us and took us home. We had to be bottle fed several times a day and boy were we hungry! We grew and grew, eventually getting big enough to be spayed and vaccinated. Our foster mom found us a home where we were adopted together and we all thought we would live happily ever after. But this is not the end of my story. After almost one year our new mom moved to Germany and could not take us with her. It looked like our destiny would be left to the Pound, but thankfully our original foster mom found out and drove across two states to find us and bring us back. (that's how sweet we are). So I am still looking for my forever home. My sister, Sassafras is also for adoption. We are all grown up now, so we will be just fine if we go to different homes, as long as our new homes last forever. I would love to live with another cat or cats as I am very curious, playful, and good at making friends, both human and feline. My foster mom says I deserve a second chance. Will it be you?
