Sprocket's Story...
AVAILABLE NOW!!

Sprocket is just a LOVER! VERY friendly, super personality, gentle, wants attention, appears house trained, and DOES NOT like the shelter! He also knows basic commands and does well on a leash! Sprocket is approximately 1-1 1/2 years old and weighs approximately 35 lbs. His adoption fee is $100 which includes a $50 refundable neuter deposit.

99% of the dogs that arrive at the shelter come in as strays. We do not know their history as far as if they are good with kids, cats, and other dogs. We can only advise by what we observe while the dogs are being housed at the shelter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sprocket, a Lapeer Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Lapeer, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Lapeer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lapeer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lapeer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lapeer paves the way for another one to be saved.
