Anastasia's Story...
Anastasia was put out along with her brother, 4 older kittens and who knows how many more! They all showed up within 2 weeks of each other and we believe someone let them breed and then just left them behind when they moved or got evacated (probably from having too many cats!) She is sweet, sweet. sweet but of course not spayed but she is now.(along with all the rest) She was also vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. She probably would be better as an only child or with maybe just one more docile cat but is overwhelmed by too many. Did we mention how gorgeous she is too?!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anastasia, a Bear Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Bear, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Bear.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bear already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bear breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bear paves the way for another one to be saved.
