Elliott's Story...
Elliott and his sister Pinky were allowed to be born and then they all multiplied and of course, then it was too much so they just put everyone out! Problem solved!!! We were brought in to clean up the mess and got everyone spayed/neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies and tested for feline leukemia and FIV (all negative-thank God!) Most of them we have found homes for because everyone is so gorgeous and so sweet and only Pinky and Elliott are left. They are fine with other cats and were around a dog at the previous home so MAY be ok with one?? Big, lovable, gorgeous babies-way don't you see for yourself just how much!!

About Our Rescue Group...
Castaway Cats is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit cat rescue based in Bear, DE, comprised entirely of volunteers. We do not have a shelter and all of our cats are in foster homes. This rescue was started in 1992 in an effort to help the homeless and feral cats in our area. Each cat we rescue is spayed/neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and AIDS, vaccinated with FVCRP and rabies shots, de-wormed and de-fleaed. Because all our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, we do not adopt out kittens under the age of 12 weeks.

Our Adoption Process...
If you are interested in meeting one of our cats, you can fill out our online adoption application at www.castawaycatsde.com. Once we receive your application we will contact you with any questions we may have, and then will set up a day and time for you to meet the cat/cats. Once a match is found for your family, there is an $85 adoption fee. This fee covers spaying/neutering of your cat, worming, all shots including rabies, ear mite and flea treatment, and Feline Leukemia and AIDS testing. All adoptions are done on a trial basis so we can be sure everyone is happy. Our goal is to find the best possible cat for you and to ensure our cats have happy forever homes.
