I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.
Rayne and Sunshine's Story...
We are not for sure, but we believe these beautiful girls are either mother and daughter or sisters. They were both found outside of a pet store where someone just dumped them off (unspayed of course) thinking the pet store would take them in. They are very lucky they weren't killed by the cars or the fox, etc. out there like many others have been!! Luckily, we got to them before that happened and took them to the clinic to be spayed, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies), flea treated and tested for feline leukemia and FIV (both negative). We could tell they were once someone's pets because they are very sweet but when they got bigger, they just got rid of the poor girls! They are going to be shy at first but do love to be loved and will soon come around with the right person/people! Is that you??

About Our Rescue Group...
Castaway Cats is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit cat rescue based in Bear, DE, comprised entirely of volunteers. We do not have a shelter and all of our cats are in foster homes. This rescue was started in 1992 in an effort to help the homeless and feral cats in our area. Each cat we rescue is spayed/neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and AIDS, vaccinated with FVCRP and rabies shots, de-wormed and de-fleaed. Because all our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, we do not adopt out kittens under the age of 12 weeks.

Our Adoption Process...
If you are interested in meeting one of our cats, you can fill out our online adoption application at www.castawaycatsde.com. Once we receive your application we will contact you with any questions we may have, and then will set up a day and time for you to meet the cat/cats. Once a match is found for your family, there is an $85 adoption fee. This fee covers spaying/neutering of your cat, worming, all shots including rabies, ear mite and flea treatment, and Feline Leukemia and AIDS testing. All adoptions are done on a trial basis so we can be sure everyone is happy. Our goal is to find the best possible cat for you and to ensure our cats have happy forever homes.
