My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chloe is a very sweet 8-year-old pure bred Jack Russell who loves to give kisses and cuddle. She has been in the same home since she was 8 weeks old but her human is being deployed to England for 4 years with the US Air Force and will not be able to take her with him. He loves her very much and wants to find her a great forever home for the second half of her life.

Chloe is still quite active and loves to run around the yard and chase squirrels. She loves a good game of fetch but she often changes the rules to "keep away" once she gets the ball or toy that has been thrown for her. She loves to go for a ride in the car and looks out the window almost the whole time. Chloe loves children and has never shown any type of human aggression. Her favorite toy is a Kong with peanut butter inside. Most of all, Chloe loves to cuddle. After 10 minutes of excitement when her "dad" comes home at night, she is ready to cuddle up on a blanket next to him and lay her head in his lap.

Chloe occasionally nurses her right knee and her family had an x-ray performed at her veterinarian's office. It was determined she has a slight tear in a tendon. Her family gives her a joint health treat containing Glucosamine and Chondroitin that seems to have abated the problem. Her veterinarian does not believe she is in any pain. She just occasionally totes that leg when she runs.

Chloe deserves a special family preferably with a fenced yard so she can run and play. She will reward you with years of love and affection.

Chloe is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention medication. If you are interested in adopting Chloe, contact Christopher Bare at uncbare@yahoo.com.
