Mojo - in Maine's Story...
Mojo is a 1 year old female Beagle mix recently transferred to our rescue from All Sato rescue in Puerto Rico.

Mojo was found with her mother and sister wandering down the road in Puerto Rico. Thankfully a guardian angel saw them and scooped them up so that they could be rescued through All Sato Rescue.

Mojo's mom and sister have already come to Tall Tails Beagle Rescue and found loving homes - now it is Mojo's turn!

Mojo gets along well with other dogs and loves to be pet. She used to greet her foster mom in PR with love nibbles on her ear:)

Mojo's previous foster mom trained her on pee pads - so she will need some basic house training (regularly scheduled outings, praise for a job well done outside, and crate training initially)

She likes playing with toys but has not learned how to fetch yet - maybe you could teach her?

Mojo is overweight at 53 lbs - so she needs someone who will exercise her to help her regain her girlish figure.

This is a very sweet, loving girl who deserves a wonderful home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mojo - in Maine, a Freeport Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
