Dexter's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dexter's Story...
Dexter was found at the same truck stop as Winston. Being the persistent little guy that he is, Dexter followed Winston’s foster dad home and pushed the door open. He was determined to be a part of the fun.

If you are looking for a sweet, fun dog, your search is over. Dexter loves to please people, but he can be an escape artist. You just need to make sure you keep an eye on him. He also likes to go for walks or jogs, and loves the nap he gets to take afterwards.

Dexter is great with other dogs and cats. As an added bonus, he gives the best kisses!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter, a Houston Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
