My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Desi is a sweet and friendly 3 year old beagle mix. She is crate-trained and housebroken and is very quiet in her crate. She has a very cute way of talking or singing to you when you talk or sing to her. It is like she is trying so hard to do more than just communicate and wants to actually carry on a conversation with you. It is really very endearing. Desi has a favorite stuffed monkey that followed her all the way from West Virginia where she had found herself abandoned in a kill shelter. The shelter staff there fell in love with her and put out a plea to the rescue world for a group to please save her. We were the lucky ones to be entrusted with her care and finding her a wonderful forever home. Desi is a great size at 14 lbs. She walks very well on lead and is obedient and mindful. She does fine with other dogs but would be just as happy to be an only dog. She gets along well with our cats. Desi is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all of her shots. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. To meet Desi we request that you first complete the adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com .
