Zeke's Story...
My adoption fee is only $75! Woof! My name's Zeke. I am a cute 3-year-old Tricolor Beagle mix fellow who needs to be homed with children ages 6 and up. I am a social dog who is tolerant of all handling, loves playing with people and toys, and takes treats nicely-a really terrific doggie fellow all around! Come meet me at the shelter and consider adopting me today! I would make a great family pet (provided the children in the family are at least 6 years of age).

All shelter pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped upon adoption. Dogs adopted to residents of Chula Vista will also receive a free one-year license.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeke, a Chula Vista Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Chula Vista, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Chula Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chula Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chula Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chula Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
