Desi's Story...
Desi was rescued from a feral colony in Gilroy with his sister Flora (adopted). He is a little shy at first but is very playful and loving once he gets to know you. He has been vaccinated and has been neutered. He loves to play and will snuggle in your lap when he's ready for a nap. He loves to play with the foster puppy, Peanut. Would be great if they could be adopted together - but not necessary.

If interested in seeing Desi, please email me or come visit him at the adoption fair on Saturdays between 1130A and 3P at the Pet Club at the corner of Blossom Hill and Snell.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Desi, a San Jose Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in San Jose, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in San Jose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Jose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Jose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Jose paves the way for another one to be saved.
