My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BUDDY: I am a 2 year old Tibetan Terrier/ mix, male dog. I am a cinnamon brown color, with black on the tips of my ears. My coat is soft and silky making me quite handsome. I am a sweet, sweet, boy!
I am neutered, current on all shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped and currently on heartgard.
I was dumped at a farm outside of town. They witnessed me getting shoved out of a car with another dog while they screamed and yelled. We were so scared we just took off running. The people at the farm called us to come, but we just kept going. I lost my friend and finally found my way back to the farm and the nice people. I was scared, skinny, and so hungry. Living on a dangerous and busy road, they feared for my safety. The rescue was called and I knew I would get another chance to find a loving, forever home.
I get along well with other dogs. I am the best behaved boy on a leash!!
I am learning how to tolerate cats. Most of the time I do really well, but sometimes, I have to be reminded that cats are alright.
I learned very quickly how to use a doggy door . I try to please my foster family any way I can and they tell me what a fast learner I am. Crates are very scary for me and cause me great anxiety, so I get to sleep with my foster dog friend on the bed. I have very good manners.
I really love my new foster mom and like to know where she is whenever I can. A home where someone can give me lots of time and attention would be great so I could feel safe and secure again. At first I forgot how to play; now it is coming back to me.
In the beginning, I was jealous of other dogs getting attention. Taking my turn is ok now.
A visitation at my foster home needs to be arranged to come and visit me. Fill out a pre-adoption application found on our website at www.pureheartsrescue.org , click on applications. Next email it to: rescue@pureheartsrescue.org for approval or call 970-590-3708 for more information. After approval a visitation will be scheduled. After rescue approval, and you love me and I love you, an adoption contract is filled out and signed. I have a $200.00 adoption fee.
